Quizizz is another engaging assessment platform. It has many of the same features Kahoot has including images, leaderboards, and music. What I like best about it is that students can work at their own pace since they can view the quiz on their own device. Even better the questions get randomized so there’s no need to worry about cheating. You can choose from several different languages which is beneficial for a school that has dual language classes as well as ENL learners. One more feature I like is that you can import a quiz you previously created.
Since the questions are only visible on each device and not a projector I think it is important that the program has a recording option. With this option teachers can record their voice reading the question, this will support learners at different reading levels. Although I like that you can email parents students quizzes, I also feel that the reports could be improved to simply show struggling students and difficult questions like Kahoot does. With these improvements I would recommend this tool to other teachers. Teachers would enjoy that questions are randomized so students are not able to cheat. Another feature that they would enjoy is that quizzes can be assigned as homework and can easily be shared to Google Classroom. These features simplify quizzes for teachers, engage students, and provide quick reports.
